Nice Supra video
Discussion
Here about half way through the video there is some in-car footage. Sounds pretty nice.
The more I see Supras the more they grow on me.
To the people in the know, what does it take (parts and pricewise) to get a Supra to the level in the video? Also what's the wo-wo-woop noise inbetween gear changes, doesn't sound like a BOV.
Nice anyway

Has some noise from the sus when turning too...sounds like the wheels fouling the arches.
The noise from the engine is a bit iffy....poss clutch? Wonder what type hes using?
Suggest its a paddle type looking at the way it jerked away at the start of the vid and he's always revving high to get it go without bogging.
Lightweight flywheel hasnt affected the drivablity of the four like that or introduced any nasty rattle type noises.........

Why does the lightened flywheel make it sound like a bag of nails? My lightened flywheel made no difference to the idle or engine noise?
The Getrag V160/161 is a VERY strong but noisey box. Toyota uses a dampened flywheel to eliminate the noise/shock from/to the box. You put a lightweight one in there and it takes the cushion away. They sound like a bag of nails when hot. You can reduce the noise by raising the idle RPM, but best bet is a new OEM flywheel IMHO.

Gaz, Keans 8.4 second car is street legal too. The one that is freaking me is Ryan Woon's. 8.6seconds 171mph and from the stock V160 supra gearbox. mad.
