Bought and fitted a set of Japanese wheels. Problem is every morning I go out the tyre is flat. Found out its a leaking valve. When I tried to get a hold of a new valve it seems nobody seems to stock these (Jap valves are thinner apparently).

Anybody know who can supply me with one of these?

Cheers

Probably not much help, but on my Work Emotions the valve leaked and just needed tightening with a valve key to sort it.

There is a small rubber O-ring or grommet where the valve meets the valve seat on the rim, apparently these perish over time, its just the wee rubber ring thats causing me the hassle.

I was actually thinking of taking them off and putting the old wheels back on and refurbing these for summer.....

Its a PITA anyway, Cheers

I have the exact same problem with mine, been told I need replacements from the manufacturer, and as I can't discern the manufacturer from the wheels I'm a bit stuffed. Still they are in a bit of a crappy state and it's a good excuse to get some new ones
