LS2 V8 Miata MX5 project

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I posted here before as my Miata is strictly a performance toy I use extensively for Auto-X and Track Days, so I thought you guys might be interested.

There are quite a few photos now available at:
http://photobucket.com/albums/d63/LS2V8Miata/

 • NOTE: Be advised in advance, this is an photo album for general entertainment, not a step-by-step DIY tutorial how to build your own V8 Miata. :drive:

This is a conglomeration of several of our other projects and the LS V8 Miata photos are a little dated as they show my Miata with the used 2000 Corvette LS1 and T-56. The car now has been stripped to bare body and everything is new from the bushings up. The rear-end is a Ford 8.8 IRS 3:73 gear, Detroit Locker true-trac helical gear posi (like Torsen only beefy)

A new 2006 Corvette C6 LS2 and T-56 is going in and car is at about 60 % completion. Will post updated photos when possible.

Thanks again for asking, you guys!

Sorry to all!!

I made a mistake and capitalized all the letters in the word MIATA and the Link didn't work.

The correct Link is:

http://photobucket.com/albums/d63/LS2V8Miata/

Again sorry for the inconvience, hope you enjoy the pix of my other projects in there too!!!!

Thanks Fox,

I thought my photo claerly demonstrated the biggest engine in the small car mentality of a truly sick motorhead (pistonhead). The blown 454 wouldn't fit however, so I had to settle for the 400 Cubic Inch, LS2 V8 a much better fit (dimensionally.
