I'm considering only minor stuff.

Reflashing of the ECU and a decat is good for a few horses.

Lots of tlc over the winter,The old gal is looking a little...well tired I suppose, she's had quite a hard year. Some niggling electrics, that have never been the same since the break-in.I've been meaning to spend a day at Coventry on the rollers, it's just having some spare cash & getting round to it.

Did I spot Batty in Keynsham yesterday, 2.00pm ish? V.nice sounding silver FTO.

I like the first turbine boost- that's the bit I don't want to lose. The boost below 3.5k is what makes the Supe so much better to drive than the comparitively gutless (at low revs)E36 M3.

My car makes full boost by 3k Gaz.........

a bigger sequential system is out of the question TBH mate. Not only will it cost the earth, but it will be unreliable. The stock system used to drive me nuts. At least the singles/twins are easy to diagnos quickly

....and your system costs a bloody fortune (I'm sure being VVti helps too?)! It's fairer to compare mine to Adams than your car.

Doing it properly always costs I am afraid mate. Blag a ride in Clarkey Sparkeys car. He has a T61 Budget kit with 550cc's SAFC2 etc. Thats as far as you can go before getting into "proper" money IMHO

If I had a manual, I would go single with the BL61 kit- no question, but imo a single doesn't suit the autobox.

Not sure, I had a go in a T61 with stock autobox and I must say it was a complete hoot to Drive. Remember you can get a 3200 High Stall, that way you have instant boost as soon as you stick it....

I was originally thinking of getting a custim twin setup made - two smallish singles to combat the lag issue and still produce good power but some of the newer turbos and decent mapping and full boost is available on the FD from 3-3.5k (as opposed to 2.5k on the normal twins).

Single is definately the way to go as the FD 'rats nest' can be temperamental (too many solenoids, pill valves and miles of vacuum hose)... Is the supra control system as flaky?

I know Jack Schitt about hi-stall converters- I'd have to try it, but as it is, it sounds rather unappealing.

Do you remember 'Dudes finest hour' when he ran a 10.3 against Leon, Leon took off like a banshee, Dude just sat their for an age, then took off- what was going on there?

prolly just getting himself ready. The high stall is just like slipping a manual clutch. Downside is that it generates heat so you need to fit coolers. We fitted a 4400rpm to his car with two box coolers. Basically in an auto the car will rev to 4400 on the line. You can fire them off a line lock ( leon locks all 4 wheels) or power brake.

As a side note - let me know when you are down @ Thor and I'll pop in and say hello - I'm desperate to see el beast!

(and tbh my MRT specialist is just behind thor, so more than likely, I'll be there anyway )

Once I get it back!!!

Plan to just drive the Rex for awhile, but next year it will be a bigger turbo, and Sequential box. Nothing much left to do then!

Maybe some stickers, or some neons......
