It's a turbo conversion for the MR2!

There are two fist-sized holes in the engine block, so if ever any proof was needed that the 3SGE really did blow up, there it is.

Soooooooo it's new engine time and the car is also going to receive a lick of paint (nose cone was quite badly scuffed and one of the front arches could do with replacing... I'm thinking of maybe investing in a few subtle styling changes).

It also seems that one of the brake calipers has stuck again, so that'll need sorting, but hey-ho... We did it once before (with the aid of a big hammer and a blow torch) and we can do it again!

Can't wait.

Will see what money allows.

I suspect a straight swap will be more than sufficient for the time being though, as my old man wants to use the car too (he'll be contributing financially).
