sounds good - lots of new kit. Mind you, I'm not a fan of the looks of the "new" car.

What planet are living on ???? The little Angels round my way would have them off in no time. If the Caps don't come off first time, they just rip the whole valves out.

That must be a misprint....... I hope, cos I got the Prodrive PFF7 18" Alloys on mine. They were £1000 for four + Tyres which I sourced myself, Michelin PS2's. Total price £1560.

That is one bloody awful spoiler...

More ugly accessories for an already ugly car - shame, as they go pretty well!

I thought "expensive" too.

One assumes they're lighter than leggies then, because I bought 4 18x8 leggies wrapped in 225/40R18 Eagle F1s for about 1100 quid.

Parking sensors, Bluetooth kit and Rain sensing wiper thingies.....

Why the blinking flip aren't these fitted as standard?

Harks back to the day when you had to have aircon fitted as an optional extra when you bought the car.

Because if I'm buying a rally car, I don't give a crap about any of them.

I'd have to agree with MrE.

But why are they available as an extra on whats supposed to be a rally car for the road?? Does Petter Solberg have rain sensitive wipers?? Or Park distance control?

It's not a rally car though, its a family saloon/hatch that goes fast, it's also a car that your wife sometimes borrows to do the shopping, that you sometimes take a call in whilst driving etc...though I'll admit I've never seen the point in rain sensitive wipers.

Not wishing to jump down anybody's throat on this one, if it was a rally car then presumably stereo/aircon/rear seats would be ditched also?

Agreed. Hence they should be optional extras (call it the "getting wife to agree" pack if you like).

Make the base car cheaper, and pay for the bits you want.

Similar to what Ferrari have done with the new F430. Except when your spending around £100k on a car, you want most of the options!!!
