Good afternoon all, I am usually found in the BMW E39 forum but I need a bit of advice. Just purchased a Suzuki Cappuccino 1995N and undrstand that they are a bit prone to RUST. Just wondering if anyone has any tips for me not only for that but in general about the car. I have been told that the car is a UK car but I am sure that is not enough to keep it rust free.

Thanks

Steve

What you want is to regularly inspect the car for rust (if you can get under the car, so much the better!).
Once a year in late summer you should apply a coat of Waxoyl over pretty much everything on the underside of the car except the exhaust pipes (pooh, smelly!)
This can be bought from Half***ds and applied with a brush, or even better, get it on a lift and use a spray gun.

Thanks for that. Is it really a car you can use throughout the winter or is it best to lay it up in the garage?

It's modern, it's Japanese - use it all year round!
