I second Performance5. Run by a true enthusiast. Also around are.

www.everythingmx5.co.uk Who have all sorts of 2nd hand parts. Usefull if you break anything when your being overly enthusiastic.....

And theres www.dandycars.co.uk who do servicing and hardtops as well as car sales.

Enjoy! (p.s. lots of hardtops on E-Bay )

Are you sure you need a hard-top? Whilst I don't drive mine every day I don't see the need. A mate of mine had one as a daily driver up in Scotland (around about Aberdeen) without a hard top and no problems. He used to drive his with the roof down every day it wasn't raining/snowing (as do I)!

The reason for the hard top is really more to do with security as sadly as like in many town centres the thieving scum bags will take anything they can.

Infact i have just learnt on the MX5 forum that people have actually had their hard tops lifted and it would be prudent to invest in a special lock for the hard top.......... a sad reflection of our times iam affraid.

This is one of the issues that's got me thinking. My area is not too bad, although the level of scrotilla is mildly higher than average.
