I'd love to, but it seems that all Jap Chat meets are doomed to failure!

Been meaning to get myself over to Wales - need to do some homework for an event I'm planning next year. Good excuse to pound some of the reknowned Welsh tarmac too.....

Well, in the spirit of fairness, may I be the first to suggest "anywhere" - I'll be there.

How about, for the more adventurous - possibly a pie in the sky idea, but I reckon it is actually quite a good idea.

How about.....we have a "Jap Chat weekend"? A blat up to and around Scotland / Wales whatever, a hotel in the evening (to keep the other halves happy) then we could all have a few drinks on the Saturday night, regailing stories of times gone by. . . . . ?

Terrible idea?

You sure about the 'up front' bit? Some of them roads are a bit narrow - not sure the supra/liner barges would fit down 'em!

I think a weekend (March 18th 2006?) Japchat hoon around Wales (Evo triangle) could be great.
Find a decent B+B and attempt to shred some tyres

So anyone care to enlighten us where exactly the Evo triangle is?
Then i can look into B+B's
BTW
Gaz it doesn't matter the exact weekend just a guide for peeps to arrange to etc.
oh, and your barge won't get close

How many people would be interested in this then? I dont mind doing some of the organising, but obviously for it to work we'd need an indication of how many people would actually be interested (Even if there are only 5 of us, I'd still be up for it).

Would be better if we all stayed in the same place you see....

So the interested parties so far are:

MrF
Batty
GazBoy
Tuttle
Al
IainT

Please add names as appropriate

not wanting to show off or anything, but I have driven the Triangle so many times I even know all the sheep.

All the TVRs, WRXs, FTOs find it hard to keep up in the dry, let alone the wet!!

I'll be sure to wait for you all at the end!!!!

Definately be up for the "B&B Triangle" idea..

sounds great, especially if we can find a place that does some good (but not too expensive) food, so we can all have a nice meal and get trollied in the evening, whilst recounting tales of the day's escapades... (presuming we start early on the saturday, do plenty of driving, stop over somewhere, drive back towards england, then go are seperate ways....

happy to help out with some organisational stuff if you two need a hand.

oh, and by the look of the entry-list so far, "we're gonna need a faster car.."
