Suzuki Cappuccino
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience of these cars? Seems companies now put Hyabusa engines in which seem to be quite a laugh.
I am after a weekend / trackday toy was thinking of a 944 Turbo / MR2 Turbo or RX7, but a Cappuccino with a bike engine would be quite cool and rare and they are supposed to have a very well balanced chassis.
Just wondered if anyone on PH knew much about them?
Thank in advance.

I owned a Cappuccino for a while. Great little cars with proper RWD handling and about 85bhp/110mph if you de-restrict the engine.
The 3-cylinder turbo engine revs to 9000rpm and sounds a bit like a 911 (if you use your imagination).
Being turbo-charged, it may be possible to get a bit more poke out of the standard engine rather than fitting a Busa, which I think would spoil it (I also owned a ZX9R-engined Seven).

I also have a cappuccino. I think the company you are refering to are Cappuccino Sport.

Great fun little runabout, but being rwd and not having the longest wheel base, they are pretty twitchy, or should I say 'exciting' in the damp, but handle brilliantly in the dry....
As for the engine, there is plenty more out of the standard engine if you are prepared to play/pay with it; FWIH, 125 bhp is on the cards for around £2k ish, but you may want to sort the brakes/chassis before you do this.........
The best sources are cappuccino sport and/or

ps. thinking of selling mine.....
