Interesting. There seems to be a fear of FBW, but in my experience, its superb, unless Toyota do it better than most. How the VVTi Supras work is a 2 x TPS, one via a cable connected to your loud pedal. The Elecronic motor uses this as its reference and opens the throttle accordingly
