E-bay, without a doubt. (do make sure it is mint though, any damage to the clamps may indicate it has been nicked, and they are easy to nick)
The Mk1 and Mk2 Hard tops are interchangable, with the later Mk2.5 having slightly different fixings.
From Mazda they go for over £1500, and even the crappy fibreglass job from Moss is nearly a grand.
Actually you can also try www.autolinkuk.co.uk www.everythingmx5.co.uk and www.dandycars.co.uk too.

There's usually a few for sale on the owners club forum:
www.mx5ocforum.co.uk/
or in the back of the magazine (although you have to be a member to get that)

As Ben said, ebay is the best bet, but you're coming into the wrong time of year to be buying now - I've seen them at just £350 in the summer and they go up to anything as far as £800 come winter. It all depends on the colour, condition and if it has a heated screen or not. I'd say £500 will buy you a nice one in the colour you want (provided your car isn't too much of an oddball colour)
