£450 for a very tidy looking MR2. What do you reckon the angle is? Stolen? Cut n shut?

I've noticed the latest 'thing' on Autotrader is to put cars up at artificially low prices like £350. The text of the ad then says 'there is an error and the actual price is £3500'

(Complete bullocks as you can change the price on live Autotrader ads as often as you want!)

I think you've answered your own question there. Blokey has put said Mister two up for four and a half G's but missed a zero to get it at the top of the search lists. Not sure I'd trust someone who over-exaggerates things by a factor of ten though ;-)

My thoughts were either

Car stolen or poor title - prospective buyers too eager to snatch up a bargain than check properly on HPI.

Otherwise, prospective buyers relieved of their £450 in some 'mutually convenient meeting place'

Autotrader ad?
This car (or 1 very similar not too many 'blues' around)was doing the rounds in the westcountry for sub £500.00 recently, trader claimed it was p/x.

Otoh, could be a typo.

Is it really a Ferrari with a cheap fibreglass bodykit?
