Looks nice. Has this done much to the handling?

Any thoughts on what it'll do to the longevity of the front end. The FTO, or mine at least, eats front bushes and drop links. Then again it's done over 160,000 miles.

Yep, I have to replace droplinks and bushes once a year. Dont forget the back ones and the elliptical adjusters too

Not on the FTOOC but if you do need any help on FTO related spannering issues just ask. You wouldn't believe the amount of work it takes to keep one running with the miles I do.

Somewhen in the next fortnight I've got to replace the clutch. That should be a laugh a minute

Nor have I on an FTO. Doesn't look too hard. Famous last words.

Look into places like camskill etc, they do good prices on parts.
Also its well worth joining the FTOOC, as the resources there are very very useful.
i got a new sprayed front bumper for £50.
good luck with the clutch

Mike at Camskill knows my voice and no longer has to ask who I am. We're almost at the "What's broken now?" stage every time I call. We get through a few hundred pounds worth of parts every month.
