yeah the jap sketch was quick & must'v been modded.
Its funny though when you have a really quick motor & you have a squirt with summink just as quick, all you wanna do is up the power..............I feel a new ecu & a tad more boost in order, the v8 only runs half a bar which is pretty low compared to the jap croud init?

Its about right for a standard car, although maybe a little low. is that about 6 or 7 psi? The lastest scoobies, and evos run higher boost, around 14 pso if I recall. I was running 1.25 bar on my tubby! (think that equates to 18psi).
If you upped the boost to around 1 bar, wouold that be reliable, and who sort of increase would you see?

well the V8 esprits used to compete against mclaren f1's back in the day running around 550bhp so from what i hear the road going v8 is highly detuned, although it never feels that way when you press the loud pedal!
Its engine out time for it in two weeks, oil leak that cant be reached so it'l be the once over & a pair of dump valves to boot!
