My sister had a TT... A lot better than I gave it credit for! Handling was great on it... It just looks a bit to much like a jelly mould for me!
A mate lent me his TT for a couple of weeks and it was much better than I thought it would be. It had been chipped up to about 280bhp so that probably helps
OK, seriously, my direct comparison was between a 1994 S4 and a 2005 Legacy. I don't know where Subarus sit on the "quality of Japanese interiors" scale but it didn't feel anywhere near as solid as the older car. Disappointing, because I'd be talking test-drives with them otherwise. Just an observation, horses for courses and all that.

I think (hope) that Subaru's are a little low on the list of quality japanese interiors. having driven a couple of mid-90's Audi's, scoobs certainly dont have that feel of having been hewn from a single lump of plastic that the Audi's have. Having said that, those that I drove felt like they had been hewn from a solid lump of cast iron as well so I guess you pays your money and you takes your choice.
Subarus and Audi's seem to have something in common to me in as much as if you take off the turbo (or take out the V8 in the case of some audis) and the four wheel drive, your left with...
...buying something else.
