Mazda Skyactiv NA petrol engine - remap worthwhile?
Discussion
Ah so, second post following hot on the heals of my previous one - but thought this deserved it's own thread.
The 2l skyactiv engines (2013-2018) come in two versions, 143bhp and 163 bhp - Does anyone know if the 143bhp engine is just a detuned version of the 163? If so, should be able to get it remapped? Remappers claim 180bhp is attainable, but I'd be happy to see a bit less in the real world.

But with my sensible head on, I've heard that an NA engine won't show that many gains, but if it's been detuned by the manufacturer maybe it is possible?
Just weighing my options here, and yes I know I'd have to inform the insurer.
