240 z resto mods

Not sure what exactly you are looking at but this may be a start point. Lots of magazine reviews under the media section.

I built a fairly extreme 240Z restomod, with a Corvette engine, updated drivetrain, posh brakes, suspension, chassis bits, essentially most of the bits from Technotoy Tuning / Apex Engineering, the two main resto-mod suppliers in the USA - All very expensive, and even more expensive once shipped / import fees are paid.
Obviously, what a cool thing. I did love driving it and owning it, but opportunities were limited. It became a fairly valuable thing, but very much a toy and labour of love which was ultimately at its best in pictures, or at a car show.
The one your talking about may be different, as it’s still much more fundamentally still a 240Z, but for me it was essentially a game of ‘how many tens of thousands of pounds can you spend to try and make it as good to drive as a £900 MX5’.
If I was to have another, I’d keep it standard instead of trying to turn it into something it’s not. As ultimately it’s a 50 year old car, adding more power highlights all of the shortcomings, and as you address each one, that change in turn highlights something else and the cycle continues.
If I was very wealth I’d still own it, just to look at, start up, rev and enjoy taking to the odd car show. But unfortunately I’m not.

Thanks guys, the one I am looking at has all the suspension mods BC coilovers, brakes upgraded ,new drive train ect. Fully acid dipped and then re painted.
Running around 260 bhp not a great deal of power but probably enough for the chassis. As you say the more power you have the more problems it creates.
What sort of price are uk rhd fully refurbished ones going for ? Are the rhd cars more expensive than the lhd imports?
