Mazda CX5 - Owners opinions, reliability and changes?

As per title.
Looking at one of these for the other half - info on any common problems or issues seems very rare other than mainstream reviews.
Seems they had a facelift and went to euro 6 2015ish, but no info to be found on changes past lights, electric pax seat and styling?

Wife had one as a company car for 3 years in 2015. The mot history is already coming up as advisories on suspension corrosion.
Interiors are actually very nice, we had a 2.2D SE Lux NAV with faux leather and a few toys, very nice to drive, good road manners and a comfy ride on the Yokohama’s it came with. Half decent fuel economy ,although the 2.2 150bhp diesel lacked grunt when the car was loaded. Some say the engine is a bit agricultural, but to be honest we found it fairly smooth and with decent low down torque. Plenty of space when the seats are down and they fold with a nifty system which is basically a one touch affair. Front seats were both electrically adjustable , stereo was good, but the sat nav was over complicated to use, and in the end we just used a garmin, it really is a useless system and not worth paying extra for.
Manual 6 speed is a real pleasure to use, it’s slick , precise and the clutch is very light indeed so town driving is not too much of a chore. Not much road noise either and it cruised nicely at 70mph at about 1800rpm (If memory serves me, might be wrong on that)
The dash was well laid out, and interior trim seemed pretty hard wearing. After 20k the seats were still as good as new, zero bolster wear or even cracks.
I’m not sure and maybe someone can correct me, but I think the 2.2 diesel is shared with some Ford and Range Rover models.
Negatives are a slightly poor build quality, we had a bolt come undone behind the dashboard which rattled and was bloody annoying, also the rear tailgate had a very weak piece of fibreboard on it which cracked in half within a month. The alloys started to lacquer peel after 2 years as well.
Also, if it the one you look at has the system which applies the brakes if it thinks you’re going to hit the car in front, (traffic assist or somesuch) it’s a pain, as on a sunny day when the sunlight hits the rear window of the car in front at the right angle, the system slams the brakes on. I had this happen in slow moving traffic numerous times, and we moaned about it to Mazda but to no avail.
Servicing costs were very reasonable, the car was 100% reliable while we had it, tyre wear on the fronts is slightly heavy though, and they do tend to chew through front brake pads , I’m led to believe, but after 20k ours still had a few MM left on them.

Thanks for replies - I have viewed 2 or 3 and they do seem quite susceptible to rust (albeit minor, just looks scruffy quickly).
It's these or a CRV, And we don't really need the step up in size to a CRV.
Don't want to go german.
These seem the best on balance
It would be the 2.0 petrol, I'm not a diesel fan.
