A Civic type R is no faster than a FTO Mivec manual..
No.2
A Supe TT will leave them both looking VERY silly. :hehe:
Mr CTR tried out dragging me up a dual carriageway, the FTO held its own, but the Supe went past both of us as if we where out for a sunday drive....
mucho respect Gaz etc...

Is your FTO modded mate?.
The reason I ask is my CTR can easily pull away from my cousins FTO manual, which has been on a rolling road recently to be setup and is in top condition. Maybe the CTR was down on power?.
Always had a soft spot for the FTO's, stunning looking cars IMHO.
Sometimes as well I have noticed that even when you have a car thats quite a bit faster than anothers, it is very hard to make the advantage stick on british roads.
Gaz's car is in the big boys league so I might have a play with one but I know if he had any sort of decent straight its game over.

CTR 0-60 6.4 ish??
FTO Mivec 6.6...
mines got a full de-cat induction kit free flow stainless exhaust etc...
real world no difference.
Supe however, my god those things go...
Oh right. Just wondering.
Either mine is a bit quicker or hers a little slower?, I don't know tbh.
There must be a difference between mine and her car then!. Mine is standard and has only 1,500 miles on the clock.

Lee is your Cousins a GR or GPX??
both are V6 but only one has the Mivec...
CTR have a HUGE V-tec lunge where the Mivec only has a small blend of increased power...
Err, sorry I don't know. I will have to ask her when I next see her.
My supervisor has MR2 T-bar and they are bloody fast!. He thinks his is nearly standard (he doesn't know exactly).
MR2-T is a very quick car for the money. I have never been that keen on them tbh but I can appreciate what they are.

Herein lies the difference between MR2T, 200sx, RX7's, supras, and 300 zx's,etc, and CTR's, FTO's, etc.
Why not plonk the evo engine in.. you know you want to... Go on, go on, go on!!

You boys been out playing?
All the time
Surprised how many diesels challenge it on my usual drive on the A34, loads of roundabouts and short straights!.
I used to love coming back from Stoke to Stafford with all of the boy racers. The trick is to tease them so they think they have a chance, or else they just lose interest!
