Are there any jdm v8 sports saloons?

Maybe not quite what your thinking loved jdm cars owned around 20+ imports now from evos to integras to pajeros and Subarus still got my fd2, I recently sold my c63 and I’m back in the market for another c63, wouldn’t mind owning 2 jdm cars though but I don’t think there is a 500bhp rwd v8 sports saloon
It got me thinking did the jdm ever make any cars that would compete with the amg cars v8 saloons specifically.
I have owned soarer v8s, Lexus v8s but they just are not cut from the same cloth as the c63 or c55 etc they are lazy v8s made for crusing imo.
Is there any genuinely sporty jdm v8 saloons

I think the Japanese manufacturers never quite got the concepts of huge weight and power for a sports car. Big v8’s and 12’s are tourers, sports cars are light and nimble in their eyes. Closet thing to what your are asking are the GTR skylines, coupe’s 4 doors (a few) and estates.
Maybe the itch you can scratch is the LHD AMG’s, Alpinas, and M cars that were sold in Japan but not in the UK , some. In fact they also have some RHD German autobahn busters that also were not sold here

I've owned a long line of grey Jap imports and loved them all, RX7, Pajero Evo, Subaru SVX to name just a few. I've also owned my fair share of AMG's a SL63 and last a late CL65 with that wonderful twin turbo V12.It got me thinking did the jdm ever make any cars that would compete with the amg cars v8 saloons specifically.

I am a serial car changer my CL65 lasted longer than any other car at just over 14 months whereas a year is normal.
I've had this now for over three years, it might just be worth trying a late 2017 onwards RCF or if four door and four seats is important the GSF. They grow on you, stick it in manual gear change option once warm and you may be surprised. The later cars 2017 onwards have AVS which is very good, it gives a limo like ride (very near the CL65) and then when you get a move on the suspension tightens up and if you can get a car with the optional TVD (a proper one) you'll have fun. Lexus didn't bring that many into the UK but it may be worth just trying one.

They have a range of 3.5/3.7V6 engines (sometimes coupled with supercharges or hybrids). Half a second down on a (proper) M/AMG in the dash to 62 but while I'm pleased with the handling I wouldn't say it's on par with the BMW's - especially in steering feel. Having said that they move very well and contain their heft when pushed, but when everything is back in comfort are lazy and light to tool around in.

If you want Porsche beating performance, sadly without a V8 soundtrack, then several of the big engined hybrid Lexus (Lexi?) would fit the bill from the GS450h onwards without having to go JDM only, dare say a stainless exhaust would make one sound a bit meatier if a V6 not V8 grumble.

Spot on, I do plan to lower it. This year of car has the active suspension and I've been waiting for any reports from the USA to see if there are any issues lowering this year of car. So far no problems, but I'm not sure how the excellent Lexus warranty will work if I do.Thanks for input guys, test drove a isf, and while it felt really composed and competent if that makes sense lol, think I will be going for another c63 I just prefer the hammer rather than the precision tool to be honest, also am thinking about viewing a jag xfr see how I feel about those, I’ll also be saving around 8k if I go for a xfr we will see
