Any love for Shoguns, or any other owners??

Not a very PH car, but I have a 2012 Shogun LWB SG4 black edition, which is a big barge of a 4x4 noisy, clunky, and outdated compared to modern SUVs but that’s exactly the reason I like it so much.
Really enjoying it, and wanted to see if there were any other owners on here to get some tips and hints from.
This is the beasty

I’ve recently just sold mine, I had a late 2017 SG5. I was convinced it was the car for me and spent around a year looking for the right one but just did not get on with it, found the seats really uncomfortable, sold it back to the dealer after 3 months.
But that was just me and I still think they are great machines in terms of old fashioned durability and are pretty capable off road.
Not sure if yours will be affected but there was a problem with fuel filler necks corroding. Particles get drawn into the fuel and then destroy the injection pump. Happened to a friend of mine and I gather it is fairly common. His was a bit older a 2011, worth checking though!

Thanks, not come across that issue before so will keep an eye out.
I totally get why you didn’t get on with it, out for a drive today and I was questioning what I’ve done as it’s so bumpy, noisy and wallowy that I’m still wondering if I’ve made a huge mistake, but there are aspects I really enjoy about it too so I’m hoping it grows on me.
Big test today when I pick the kids up and also see my gf, it’s going to go one of two ways, it’s not the sort of car you just moderately dislike, is extremely marmite.
May well have been for sale here MDMA, I spotted it on autotrader and jumped on it as this colour and spec are quite tough to find.
