Promised to post new pictures once I bought myself a camera - so here you go. Spent an afternoon polishing and got the results you see here, well happy!

Its a GTST,rwd.
VERY Lovely example.
Had it on any rollers yet?

That really is a very tidily seated open mouth/gtr type grille, sits really flush. Most,I've seen, seem to sit forward a cm or 2 on the bumper,& so spoil the line.Any idea who its made by?

Well spotted tuttle, yes she's a GTS 25t 'Type M' (anyone know what the Type M means?)and is hence RWD. Mechanically virtually standard, only a new exhaust - I'm wanting to get a cat replacement pipe soon though, should increase the noise! Would imagine it's around 250ish bhp - could do better!

I was told when I bought it that it's a full Nismo bodykit (you can just about make out the badge on the front grill), seems very high quality and 'fits' properly. I've been a bit concerned with the paint finish on the front though, seems to chip very easily, a respray may be on the cards before too long, then maybe some armourfend.

Decat's a good idea-free power+ noise! Simple & pretty inexpensive. It ought be in the 250bhp region as is,the thru pipe will give it few more ponies.
Are your intending to keep it pretty standard,or do some tweaking?-Beware its more addictive than crack!(alledgedly).
Nismo kit, very good looking & quite subtle, imo, bloody well should fit properly for the big £££'s.

Thanks for the comments all.

I'm hoping I'll be able to resist and keep it fairly standard as I know just how much you could end up spending [used to have a mildly tweaked 200SX].

A decat is probably going to be the limit of what I want to do as insurance is scary enough at the moment - nearly double what the 172Cup cost me!

I'm about to buy another [slightly less potent] Nissan at the weekend to keep the miles off it and for bike transport to the hills, hopefully the Primera will use less fuel...

Just had a look at your car Tuttle - like the front bumper! Would have fooled me if it wasn't for the grill & lack of wheelarches, from the list of mods there you must have spent a bit on it, presume the power/performance are notably better?

Dial 'M' for murder,I mean Motorsport spec.
2 main 'M' types,(but 16 odd variants)M 1 & M II,yours is probably an M1.M2 is '96 onwards,mechanically pretty much the same with a facelift:
Deeper,GTR styled bumper,with round indicators.
Slightly more pronounced cutaway in skirting.
Higher 1 piece spoiler.
1 piece rear bumper w/ no rear quarter panels.
New coil packs.
errr...
thats it,I think.

A bit like this one (not an M spec though)

Thankyou Polrules, that fing grille, yes has been a royal pain in the @rse!
I have 2 open mouth/GTR style replacements; 1 is made by the ppl that made the bumper-in a word its a cr@p fit-looks wrong & not really properly securable.
2 is handmade carb-fib & a really nice piece of work, but the bottom strut is slightly bowed,so again, fit is a bit odd looking
I've almost given up on them now,but every couple of months strip it all out again & try something new.
Who said modding was fun?
