S14:

Fix damange. Lower arms, wing, bumper. Rear toe and camber arms probably.

Decide if it still handle like shit.

RX7:

Nothing until the S14 works, then decide if I can actually be bothered to sell it.

Hello, just got here... (and hello IainT, fancy seeing you here!)

Anyway...

* New tyres

(Avons, to see if they are as progressive as everyone says they are. Current PZeros stick like glue and where's the fun in that?)

* Diff and gearbox lube

Not due in theory, but diff was deffo getting snatchy in the Le Mans weather, and gearbox oil "upgrade" recommended by lots of other RX8 owners

* Racing boots if I can find some on eBay, since I've got h-and-t and LFB to the point where I think I might benefit from them

* Coolant change and WaterWetter or similar
Again not due according to Mazda, but after 20000 miles of abuse...

I think I might change me plugs as well, seem to get dirty quicker than they used to.

And then longer term:

* Rota Subzero rims (weight: square root of nowt)
Obviously I should do these with the tyres, but the worse pair of PZeros are currently on 1.800000000000001 mm, so I'm going to have to change them this weekend. This means I can keep the dead PZeros and get them onto the Rotas when they arrive, and find myself a drift practice day, which is something I want to do anyway!

* Short-throw shifter

* ... which might then lead to needing a torque brace (4 is sometimes in the wrong place when going 2-4 or 6-4 - think this might be why)

And cheap track / project car off of eBay, joint enterprise... think we might have found a 1987 RX7 NA

Hi Zack

Next few weeks:
- 1600cc secondary fuel rail
- Turbosmart Eboost controller
- Feed SS downpipe
- Fuel pressure regulator
- Custom front-mount intercooler
- Custom rad
- 600 hp clutch
- hks ignition booster
- 10 and 11 plugs (colder!)
- mapping 1.0 bar boost (~340rwhp)

This year:
- something with the breaks to prevent future cracked rotors! Seen a nice AP kit.

Next spring:
- find a nice single turbo (bb setup) spend as much as poss at this point.
- water injection for hot days (like vmax)
- aim is 400+ rwhp

Probably a few other bits and bobs too along the way.

Buy new gearbox. Well, something had to give.

Might as well have bought the Cerbera I was thinking of.
