This car is such a beauty-spotted yesterday
Discussion
My wife has one but it's currently In storage awaiting a light restoration (well I hope so anyway) next year.
Not my cup of tea normally but they are cute. Probably one of the cheapest head turners you can get. It certainly got a lot of attention when we called into the BMW dealer to pick up some parts for my Alpina B3S
It's slow and wallows around corners, but that's not really the point. Every journey is an experience and you are never going to loose your license.
It's based on a Nissan Micra underneath with a 1 litre turbo and 3 speed automatic. Mechanicals aren't too bad and easy to get most things. Some trim is hard to replace and can get expensive. There are a few uk based companies that look after them, making some replacement parts too. Rust is a problem as they were not protected from factory.
Prices range from £2k to £18k. Huge fan base and friendly owners club.
Considering they are 30 years old the fact they have air con and auto is pretty nice, plus the folding roof.
I don't find it comfortable to drive at 6ft2 with big feet but that's not really an issue as it's not mine ??
The previous poster is spot on. That isn't a factory colour.

Yeah I own an, admittedly, bland Audi. So it was a bit of self-deprecation.Karl_Alp said:

I hope Nissan can build a limited numbers this year as a 30 year celebration. They can use eco engines/electric motors. The design is very Cute! Not my cup of tea normally but they are cute.
