I had to use our old L200 Warrior for a run late at night over the weekend. My goodness the power of the headlights is really poor (coming from really good lights on the E-Golf). Sure there is some need of renovating the headlight plastic but I doubt iy would make a dramatic difference. I started looking at LED headlight kits usually under £50 - has anyone else use these and to what effect?

There are kits for lens polishing. Local entrepreneurs listed on FB Marketplace do it. I find that 15 minutes with Autosol metal polish and some elbow grease will work wonders to restore a headlight. It will make an appreciable difference to the beam if the lens is very clouded.

After that you're into Nightbreakers etc.

Thanks I will try that first then look into some good bulbs. It's a great old truck that's used for all manner of donkey work and still looks well after a wash.
