Daihatsu Midget .. Importing Parts to UK

Hi guys, i need a new clutch for my Jap Import Daihatsu Midget II .... Hard to source parts in the UK.

Is there a reputable place i can get one ordered from either here or in JP?

Anyway - yahoo auctions is my normal go to place, although shipping is expensive I'll try on buyee.jp marketplace too.

I usually use Amayama for the hard to find import parts

Although, just looked and Daihatsu didnt show on the lists. Worth a check by part number if you have one though.

As above, do you know the p/n?

You could probably find the part on Yahoo Japan Auctions, then use a forwarder like Buyee or Rinkya to buy and ship to you

I've just sourced some parts on megazip. Can't really comment yet as they're still in transit but nobody else seemed to have them in Europe of the US. I definitely have a Fedex package on the way from Japan but could be anything in it other than brake backing plates for a Vitara.

Update: It's got as far as Belgium.

No joke actually well pleased, just took a while but I didn't pay for express shipping so that's on me.

Bum steer as they don't cover Daihatsu as far as I can see.

Found this epc style site for Daihatsu, might work with the chassis number and you might need to register to use it:

It has the Midget there but you might need to run translate etc and work by build date

Take it you've asked a main dealer? My local Toyota has always been able to get any part Ive asked for for my imports
