to import a car, they seem to be v reasonable in final pricing for the cars avaliable.

Am I missing something something obvious that has not been included??

Any help much appreciated.

Did look at that and thought it would be amusing to leave it that way.

AFAIK autoadvan have a good reputation,I know of 2 ppl who have used them & seem happy enough.Auto'ad seem quite accomodating-you can let them do as much of the legwork as you're happy to pay for.
If you want a really good example of a certain or unusually specced car sourced, recommend Newera Imports (Miquel)-Not the cheapest but reputedly very good.

'Self help' route appeal? Get yourself along to a trade import auction.Over the past few years these have been springing up all over the place.Even if you can't wangle trade status you can usually get in with a (returnable) £4-500.00 deposit.Their main bread & butter trade is mostly SUV types but quite a few;scoobys,mr2's,evo's etc.Prices at present are shockingly low. Most seem to have SVA facilities too.
