Hi folks. I have a question about a CX5. I know it's not a MX5 but there is no other Mazda forum so I hope it's ok here.

One of the front side lights has gone. I've previously been quoted £900 to replace, due to the entire headlight assembly needing to be replaced, rather than just a bulb.

Does anyone know if it's possible to replace just the bulb? Or, alternatively, how I can identify the part number so I could source one myself more cheaply.

Thanks!

Hi. I know it's hive of scum and villainy but there's both new and used units on ebay.

An alternative is your local breaker or failing that there's a couple of online breaker networks where you put up a request for a part and breakers around the country respond if they have it and quote for mail order. You don't usually need the part number, model and year and then pictures to be sure.

If you need the number it's probably on the unit somewhere. One ebay listing had the number KD77-51-041G listed and shown on the packaging. I'm not saying this is the right number for you but it gives you the format you're probably looking for.
