Hello, my alloys are corroded to hell. They are from a Lexus RX400H 2006 and it's a common problem with all Lexus wheels apparently.

I tried to get them re-powder coated but the company that I took it to said that the corrosion will just come back as they can only remove surface corrosion so it will just bubble up from underneath.

I need to get this sorted as the tyres keep deflating and it looks horrible.
So if Lexus wheels are out, what other wheels will fit?

Specs are:

Dia = 18"
Studs = 5 x 114.3
Bore = 60.1mm
Width = 7"
Offset = 35mm.

It seems that wheels from a Mazda 3, Santa Fe and Honda Civic all have 5 x 114.3, but they have larger center bores.
I could go new aftermarket, but this will cost a small fortune.

Any suggestions? Anybody know what wheels will fit my car that are non Lexus?

Take them elsewhere to get powdercoated. Corrosion bubbling up from inside the wheel? New one on me unless they are absolutely terminally knackered.

The place I took them to are the best reviewed in my area and certainly not the cheapest.
They advised a paying customer that new powder coating wouldn't be worth it so I'm more inclined to trust them than another shop that's happy to take my money. They were happy to do it, but said it would be a waste of money.

This is the condition.

It looks like your tyres are wearing on their outer edge, might be worth getting your tracking and camber looked at

5x114.3 is a very common PCD. Pretty much anything Jap from the same period will match and loads of other makes. Just search the PCD.

Use the wheels you mentioned with spigot rings fitted to reduce bore size?
Investigate after-market wheels? A huge choice.

The uneven wear is due to the tyres constantly deflating. I try to keep on top of it, but it's easy to leave it a little too long

Like I mentioned, I've found plenty with the correct PCD, it's the bore size I'm struggling with.

Excellent, I had no idea spigot rings were a thing. I'll look into this.
Thanks

I use this magnificent website:

Loads of times I've bought wheels for a different type of car using this site as a reference. You can usually get good deals on the more obscure wheels.

That is useful, it almost brings to many choices. Where to start?

Ask on one of the Lexus owners forums.
