My local Nissan dealer is quoting £259 for a major service (35000 miles).
It's for an NV200 van which has a 5 year warranty and there is some warranty work needed too so it's convenient to have it done at the same time.

It's a long time since using a main dealer for a service - is that price realistic?

It depends what the service involves. Doesn't sound horrendous to me for a major.

Some prices here, but not sure if that includes your van - they exclude the e-NV200:

All filters and a "health check". If brake pads are needed, they are not included

Fiat wanted £400 for a "major" on a 1.6 doblo 5 years ago so £259 sounds quite reasonable though there really isn't much to do on a modern diesel

I work in parts at a Nissan main dealer and pre-pick the parts reqired for the serices coming in. In fact I did and NV200 today.

Nissan parts service items are generally:

Minor service-
Oil
Filter
Sump plug gasket
Pollen filter
Screen wash

Major is those +

Air filter
Fuel filter if diesel
Brake fluid change

Vehicle health checks tend to be free as they generate extra work if the customer OK's it.

Some cars have extra items as part of the service, such as rear hub nuts replaced when checking rear brakes. Things like 4x4 Navaras can have a change of diff oil on a Major.

I dont know how comfortable you are sharing the reg with me but I would happily look up the parts and labor times on the system if you wanted

I'd be dubious it's a proper - ie fuel and air filter and brake fluid changed - major service for that price, it's far too cheap at dealer prices.

The Mrs had her Juke Nismo RS serviced at Nissan main stealer and it was about that price and included a years free breakdown cover. Think it had about 38,000 miles on it and was 4 years old. She was happy with the service overall and no hidden costs were incurred.
