Yes, OK, I know there's a thread running in general gassing. However I was hoping for one from free from "my BMW" statements from watch enthusiasts.

I've only seen what looks like a current 370Z testing something at the 'ring. Probably engine and drivetrain. The rumours are smaller V6 with turbos but speculation is rampant about charged 4 pots and hybrids.

The 350/370Z's have a character (overused word) of brawn. Driving is like a work out and they're not class leading in refinement but they also don't fit any class well. Should they be more mainstream? US sales have always been good but they are less suited to the UK. What do we think? What do we want?

I’m pleased to hear it could be a V6 in there. I really hope it sounds good. If it is a revvy engine like the previous one then that can only be a good thing. I’m looking forward to hearing more about this car.

I'd be very happy if it is a V6 Twin Turbo like the previous 300ZX. I really hope that it doesn't have a 4 cylinder engine in it though because that goes against the ethos of the car for me.

I'm a massive Z car fan and I love my 370Z, so as long as another generation comes along I will be happy for sure.

Agree with all of this. Hopefully it will be a re-imagined 300ZX, maybe a hybrid as although we don't get them here in Japan they've been making some pushes into the area of petrol/hybrid's.

+1 for me. The noise of the V6 at high revs is one of the best features of my 350 HR. Never fails to make me smile.
