Buying a Mazda2, high mileage issues?

SWMBO is about to buy her first car, and she’s set on the 07-onwards shape - but her/our budget is quite limited, preferably about £1,500 up to a max of £2k for the right spec etc

All of the ones in budget are understandably a bit leggy on miles. I’m not being an expert, and I’ve not found any reviews from owners with galactic miles, so an appeal to the masses on basic things to look out for

Is there a point where they should be avoided? Most we are looking at (1.3 TS a/c models mainly, some TS2 in budget) have around 100k on them, which is fine for the age, but I don’t know what would/could go wrong at this point

Not expecting a Bentley at this price point, obviously - it’s mainly so she doesn’t keep hassling me to pick her up from work!
