Mazda diesel 2.0

Hi All

I'm looking for a motorway cruiser at the moment. I've come across a lot of cars mostly German. Now I've always liked the look of the Mazda 3 especially the 3 MPS first gens. I've seen a few 2.0 Diesels for sale for cheapish money but I don't know much about them. I've heard a lot of rumors about how bad they are but yet I see a lot of 6's ranging from 2007-2017 on the motorway so surely they aren't that bad?

Anyone have any experience with the 2.0 diesel in these?
