Help me buy my next car, looking for high torque high bhp

My driving style is the odd straight line sprint, and like to get to 60-80 mph fast so not to bothered about top end, looking for a car that will really throw me back in my seat.i dont mind lag. Adss tto the fun.

Currently have a s2000 and was thinking of getting it turbo charged to around 500bhp. Ive been told that the s2000 engine isnt know for it torque capabilities.

Ive owned a 500bhp supercharged car, and that felt to tame, as i was missing the turbo torque. Bought the s2000 with the aim of a large turbo.

was lucky enough to get a ride in a 911 997 turbo, to be honest it was quick but the power band was too linear for me. Didnt get thrown back in my seat.

Now considering the evo 8 @ around the 500bhp mark. What they like to drive will it tick my boxes?

Which jap car do you guys recommend have a 25k budget...
