Does anyone care to help with this please: a recommendation in the North West somewhere (further if necessary), for a Nissan electrics expert, either official Nissan or a Nissan specialist? It's a V6, and of course there's a story behind it, which I won't go into here in detail, but here's a really nice car (truck) worth about £15k and it won't run at all at the moment! Rest assured, it is a completely legitimate, and straight vehicle, as is the my pal, the owner; but he's getting to his wits end with it now.

Years ago, I bought a vanload of new parts for a front-ended Sunny GTiR from a Nissan company in the North West, whom I can't remember the name of, I was wondering if the might be able to help, anyone?

Please anyone.....? All help massively appreciated!

Probably not but IU suspect you are looking for a unicorn or purple squirrel, surely all you need is a decent auto electrician ?

So whats the story with it ?

It went for a remap somewhere in the north west, ran beautifully for a few months; then starting producing some faults, lighting up some warning lights and not starting very well; then refused to start at all.

Has he had the ECU reflashed back to a standard map ? I'm not aware of maps causing starting issues !!

Good question dibblecorse - and the answer is that, yes, I believe he has; and I believe they've tried replacing the entire ecu too! It's extraordinary I know....

Thanks for all your help Guys - for anyone interested, an electronics whizz in the north west sorted it out; nothing to do with the mapping, it was a flipping relay!

Now sold for £12k.
