Hi, owned a Shogun now for 12 years. It's a 2005 swb 5 seater and has been a great work horse tow vehicle for my gardening business and race car. 135 k miles and still pulls like a train but they have a known issue with their fuel pumps at this sort of mileage and I'm looking for advice. Two Shoguns I know of have been scrapped because the fuel pump has been damaged by particles from the tank, and the repair costs are prohibitive. It's a shame as they are good motors in just about every other way and very robust. Mine is now worth about £ 2.5k if I'm lucky and will soon be scrap value when and if the pump goes. Does anyone know of a cheaper fix to keep these vehicles on the road?
