Anyone else had any issues with this?
Drive shaft popping out by a 2 or 3 inches, which is enough for the drive shaft seal to stop working, allowing all the gearbox oil to leak.

The model was recalled back when it was produced and my car had the new drive shaft fitted. Yet now the issue is happening again. The car is a 55 plate so one of the last ones produced. Its got 76k on the clock and is a well looked after car. I work from home so its not used for commuting.

My plan is to replace the entire drive shaft hoping this will fix the issue although I am concerned that perhaps the problem is within the diff itself.

Any help gratefully received.

How is this happening? Short shaft? Too much suspension travel? Would uprated springs/dampers/rollbars reduce suspension travel? Can the drive shaft be extended safely (there'll be a lower limit as there's only so much distance between hub and diff when at their closest approach)?
