Saw it yesterday.. nice little article on the teg rolling road day

Just wish they put the power out, then it would look even better.

Well.. we don't give flywheel figs for the Auto's.. but I would say 330bhp. to 350bhp at the fly Depending on which loss figs you use.

The Supras consistantly put out good power.

It is pretty good. I've been told autoboxes lose about 90bhp.

I hope it's not going to get like Jap Performance and Banzai, I think last months editions were like carbon copies of each other.

yep.. some of it's articles, and particularly feature-cars are heading distinctly towards the banzai/lax-power brigade.. shame.

hope this J-tuner has a better target-audience, with some actual info and knowledge!

I've been told it's more technical, being aimed at people interested in tuning their cars, and not sticking shiny crap to them.

I had a chat with Fensport today (buying shiny bits) and they confirmed that the 200mph run in the 'Rolla will be in J-Tuner mag.

They also confirmed that Adrian lifted way before the rev-limiter, and that there's probably quite a bit left (the 3S-GTE in that car is built to rev to 9.5K+)

Well, I had my copy hand delivered to my desk yesterday by the Production Editor!! Incidentaly, I get a mention - if you look in the staff cars section, in the piece about their Corolla, I'm the IT guy that gave them a call about the engine for their Hachi-Roku. Fame at last
