Micra Cambelt Change Cost

What sort of price should a cam belt change on an 04 1.0L Micra cost?

Anything else like a water pump that should be done at the same time?

Well, maybe. Micra chains do stretch, rattle and snap. Bigger job to change the chain than change a belt. If it snaps the engine is toast.

Isn’t it the earlier cars that are more susceptible to this (having done a bit of research)?

I’ll look at frequent oil changes.
