Hi Guys,
Any idea what would be the best place to look first when you have the following symptons....
On starting, the car only seems to be firing on maybe 4 cylinders and then after about 30 seconds all seems to be ok.....
Old style Supra with the flippy lights....

Check all your HT leads...
Hi my impreza has just started to do this also.
It's being looked at this friday, so i'll drop you a line if they find out what's causing it.
Start with ignition side of things (plugs, leads, coil(s) etc.).
Would you believe it, but a couple of tanks of optimax has cured it.....no more BP ultimate!!!
Odd what different gas can do.
Our,& nearly every 'liner that I've heard of,runs terribly on BP'Ultimate'.But fine on Texaco super,Optimax etc.
Technically the BP stuff ought to fine, its even tested at higher(real world) inlet,manif temps that Optimax.Go figure.
