many other mods would not need to be notified to the insurance company (Ie. engine mounts, lights etc as these would not change the premium)

I'm hoping not.

Why risk your policy if they won't change the premium?
You need to declare ALL mods just to cover yourself, but you already know this.

Sell it and buy another one, it will be easier and cheaper in the long run.

Try greenlight. They're really good with that kind of thing...

There are no options for declaring the likes of engine mounts, arb or other minor replacement modifications, therefore i presume they do not need to be declared. I would imagine these are more replacement parts rather than modifications?

What a utter load of BS. You can't afford the insurance, but you can afford to de-mod it. New account... Get on yer bike

Mate simmer down, firstly I CAN afford the insurance I would just rather spend 1000 than 4000 on insurance. Secondly I would be replacing modified parts with stock parts from a car for breaking. And thirdly I could easily sell the parts I am planning on taking off. I simply was looking for help regarding the correct stock parts to put back on. If you think you're a big man you're not and if you're not trying to help then "on yer bike" if you have something helpful to say I would love to hear it but you don't need to be acting like that. I'm not trying to drive illegally in terms of insurance, quite the opposite, I'm on here asking for help ensuring I am making my car standard again correctly.

Ha ha, who uses the phrase "big man", you sound like a child. The torrent of answers speaks for itself in my opinion, so instead of getting on yer bike, then get in the stupid car you allegedly bought with no forethought.
