My old Clio (that my brother now owns) has developed a hole in the exhaust. Apparently, the Renault parts come in at £550!! The local exhaust centre said they couldn't offer any patent parts.

Who would you guys recommend as a reasonable manufacturer of aftermarket/performance exhausts? Something with a more fruity (but not too loud) exhaust note might be nice - especially if it it cheaper than the OEM parts.

PS - I know it's not Japanese but you lot know lots about car mods.

I had a PowerFlow system fitted to my Bm - tbh i found it to be really boomy and irritating. It was loud - but not in a good way. There are much nicer sounding exhausts about.

I've got a Hayward and Scott system on the MR2 - which I can't fault......but it wasn't cheap!
