Hi guys,

So I have a 2010 Mazda 3 Takuya, model with the Bluetooth audio connection.

Recently when trying to pair new handsets to the stereo via voice command it cannot seem to understand the command.

For example, I say something along the lines of "pair new device" and it responds with "dialling *#22#, is this correct?" this is pretty consistent, occasionally the number it repeats back is different though. So it's almost like it's gone a bit deaf! This feature used to work absolutely fine.

Annoyingly, there is no way to pair devices just through buttons on the head unit, only voice command.

Interestingly, if I receive a call whilst in the car I can answer with the steering wheel button and
Talk to people without an issue, they can hear me fine.

So I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before? Or does anyone know where the mic is located, maybe it has gotten some dust in it? Or could It be more of a software thing with the stereo?

Any help much appreciated 😁

Kind regards,
Jay
