Hey all - my little CRV mk2 got written off last week. Im now faced looking for another medium soft-roader and am wondering about the hybrid lexus's.

question is, do the batteries have a thumbs up on them?

Yes, the Lexus (Toyota) hybrid systems are well proven and battery failure is very rare indeed.

Ty Colin

I have my eye on a 450h or a 300; the 300 is 4 k cheaper and i am aware the DI system on the 300 engine caused issues

I ran a 450 GS for two years completely trouble free. Epic build quality, everything worked beautifully and it never let me down. Great hybrid punch and good fuel economy in central London too. Just the dullest car to drive, look at and it didn't have a sunroof...no engine noise and no character. Mad eye buy an AMG C63, the full fat non turbo fuel sucking version in revenge.

ty very much!

i've also eyed a low miles IS300H but they don't appear as popular with people but 60mpg is appealing!
