Honda Accord i-vtec 2 litre - MPG
Discussion
I would like to know the idea fuel consumption for a Honda Accord i-vtec 2 liters petrol on 17 inch alloys (2004 model)
mine does between 25-28 mpg combined and in rare case of loads of motorway miles then 32 ish
I that normal or should I get more out of it? I had it serviced and have new filters too
Any Accord owners out here?

Hi guys, well I had many hondas so I am sure I can say something wright about them, mine is 2.0 i-vtec sport on 16th alloys, 2004 reg, manual gearbox, some of you said that they are not the best for torque and fuel? Do you know any better engines 2.0 from that years? I don't think so, it's far best in class 2.0, 25-27 city, 35-40 motorway, it have similar torque like mine older 2.3 vtec in type v , accord is fine car for every day any trip, it's not kia but not merc, it's car for middle class, fast enough to be scared when some honda psycho owner drives, so arguments like slow and thirsty are just proof about fact what you know about cars and engines, or how many cars did you had

Honda fanboy signed up to post just because someone was mean about a 15 year old Accord
OP; your figures seem a little bit down on my experience in 2004 but not much or enough to suggest a broken car. Has it passed an MOT emissions test recently?
You'll get lower economy in the cold but have you tried changing your driving style?
Old school mid sized mid power NASP petrol engines in family cars always did get poor economy, it's why they are now completely extinct and nobody misses them.
