Just giving back an LC500 today that I've been in for a week and I've got to say that I've absolutely loved it.
A few weeks ago I had a few days in an LC500h and thought to myself that the V8 with a slightly better gearbox would be a cracking car and low and behold, last week I had one dropped off.
It reminds me of the RWD F-Type R, when it first came out, but more modern.
Also thought it looked great in red, pictures don't really do it justice to be honest though.... well maybe that's just my pictures.
Looks great, sounds great, interior is miles better than anything I'd consider a competitor really and there are hardly any about. Only real negatives are that the infotainment is a bit fussy to navigate and (kind of obviously) the fuel consumption is terrible (averaged about 27mpg in the Hybrid, a solid 11 MPG in the V8). The only car I've managed to get anywhere near as low was an RCF.
Still, cracking car if you're in the market for an £80k coupe.

So WTF 2 seater covertible Lexus was I behind? Gameface said:
I believe the only two seater they've done was the old SC430, but doubt it was one of those. All other soft tops are 4 seaters.
This was brand spanking new. Red, Lexus badge, White/Cream interior, top down. Beautiful sound.Ah, 4 seaters you say, thats probably it if it fits my description above. I must have mistaken i5 for a convertible version of the car in the tv adverts.
