arrrrgh matey's,
thought i'd spend some time on piston heads to learn more about the V8 TVR's - so ive called into the Jap corner to say hello.
I drive a 91 import Celica GT4.
I also keep a summer Celica Convertible 87 GT with nitrous. I'm also in the middle of another celica project - 89 rev 1 GT4 with a rev 2 carlos sainz engine and gearbox swap.
see some of you at japfest no doubt.

Glad I've kept my MR2 now, was looking at Chimaeras for a bit. Found out the other day that when i drove it back from buying it 2 years ago I fiddled with the AVC-R on the way back and cut the power back quite a bit without realising it (had 2 settings and I didn't realise which was which), only now with a bit more knowledge of the system did I realise what i'd done, all this time I thought I was running a 300bhp tubby when it was only pushing about 265-270 tops, it's boosting a bit higher in every gear now and I can really feel the difference, loving it again.

if you will reply to posts, it isnt too much to ask that you try to post more than two letters and a question mark.

Nothings happened, just I have to chop it in for something a little cheaper and more economical (ie boring and slow
) so all spare funds can be directed toward my new project.
I will still be floating about Japchat every now and then, you cant get rid of me that easily. Plus my new project does hap a Jap engine, so that sort of counts.
