Mazda 6 undertray
Discussion
The LH undertray on my 2010 Mazda 6 2.2D has come adrift due to snow build up and then worn away into a thin sheet of paper, so was unable to be reattached.
Anyway, I think it was probably put there for a reason (aero and to stop filth ingress? Oh, the irony). Does anyone have any leads on where to get a replacement from?

Ebay always a good bet, there are plenty of 6's being broken up. It's there I think to stop water ingress, maybe help with the airflow under the car and keep the normal road crud out as you say.
The bolts do rust inside the captive nuts though, so if you manage to get them out then give them a coat of grease or copperslip before replacement.

Somehow the bolts that were holding the remnant of the tray on were an easy removal in the car park (by the AA - I don't have a jack I'd trust to give me time to get a heatshield off!) and are currently in the "ash tray" area. Good call on the copper slip, I'll bear that in mind when getting it refitted.
