problem with bushes
Discussion
this is my first post on Jap chat...
just had my runabout in the main dealer for new rear trailing arm bushes. it's a Civic 1.5; you know the one with the lean-burn engine, driven mostly by oldies...
damage was £400 inc. VAT - isn't this a bit steep,
or is this the typical labour rate at a main dealer?
dread to think what the Civic Type-R is going to cost after i have tracked it a few times.

Do you have a decent local independant?
nope, but i may start looking now!
labour was about 80% of the cost. i suppose it takes a few hours to remove the suspension etc.
to be fair, the Honda garage always do a good job,
but the hourly rates are a little steep - that's alot of beer money
